Back-ground Commercial team had a first draft of a launch plan but wanted an external assessment to identify gaps and enhancements.
Challenges
  • The launch plan was not being utilized
  • Functional teams were fragmented and using their own plans
  • The launch plan was not well integrated or strategically aligned
  • The Chief Commercial Officer needed a rapid assessment
Solution FRS completed an analytical review of the Plan. FRS identified gaps, solutions, improvements in plan structure and integrated the functional areas. Plans were proposed to enhance and update the plan. Task ownership was assigned for each key component of the plan. Launch reporting and tracking tools were proposed.
Result The launch plan was restructured and updated. The launch team was restructured around the plan. A launch management process was introduced.
